GUYS WE HAVE SOME SNEAK PEEK VIDEO! Update #1

 Hello everyone!

So before I start I would first like to say STREAM 'DEJA VU' from Olivia Rodrigo. I absolutely love it, if you want something similar to one of the tunes I recommend 'My Honest Face' by Inhaler. When I heard Deja Vu I immediately thought of this song. 

Before we actually get into HSMTMTS stuff, this does technically contain spoilers. The video clip doesn't say much that you could understand the whole plot of the season, but I will be going through all my theories on this so you can just watch the video. I will also be overanalyzing everything, so if that bothers you, you may not want to read. So if you want to go into season 2 of HSMTMTS with and open mind DO NOT READ TILL THE MARK I SAY SPOILERS AHEAD, or DON'T WATCH AND READ AT ALL SINCE THE VIDEO DOES HAVE SOME THINGS THAT MAY MAKE YOU HAVE THEORIES ON!

We did get a video clip of HSMTMTS, from the ads of the D+, Hulu, ESPN+ bundle. 

The video is uploaded by HSMTMTS Updates, I have no connection with the channel as of right now, besides being a fan.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

It is very short, but I did have some theories on it. 

So first Natalie says a line: "This party is just getting started." I do have some theories on it. 

- Natalie is going to become a bigger character this season, and may become a main character the next seasons. 

This is a bit of stretch since the writers of the show, might as well have added her a main character this season.  However maybe they are waiting to renounce a character and add her instead. Guess who is leaving East High after this semester... E.J! On that note I wonder how the writers will still add E.J to the show after he graduates (maybe grade issues).

We also see her saying this party, so which party?? The parties possible are:

-  New Years Eve/Christmas Party

- Gina's Welcome Home Party

- Cast Party

Two are based on the episode titles available on the HSMTMTS IMBD page and the 1 is based upon the "After the Musical" calls. (I talked about this in my HSMTMTS S2 What We Know: The Plot). The last on is based on the cliffhangers from S1. However we do know the start of the season does take place at New Years/Christmas time from the episode titles. The first season of HSMTMTS did take place end around the beginning of Winter Break.

The party also looks like it takes place at Ashlyn's house, so there are more reasons for it to be the Cast Party, or Gina's Welcome Home Party.

It is told to be in the New Years episode on the website. 

So that does make it more for a chance to be a New Years Party. It probably isn't a Christmas Party since there isn't any decorations. We also know this is the same party since Kourtney is wearing the same outfit. There isn't anything I could depict from the one clip where they were screaming at the party but maybe they are screaming "HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!". 

We also have this clip of Carlos screaming when someone hits him with something. 

In this clip we do see Carlos, Seb, and E.J. So we do know that E.J and Seb will be in the musical because it looks like a drama circle. 

Also Carlos may be auditioning for the play and might get a role. E.J is also in the back located next to the familiar faces of the dancers on the show, so that may mean he'll get a small role. However he seems, to look happy so he might get the role we all think he wanted the Beast!

The clip is very short therefore I don't have many theories on it.

The next clip is Ricky saying "I mean if your in"

This does look like New Years decorations, but I don't see Ashlyn's house from it. Also supporting that from the previous article there is a promo pic of Ricky wearing the same shirt without the dog tag and the blazer. 

This photo was confirmed to be a part of the New Years Episode, so it is most likely a New Years Party. I also think that Ricky is talking to Nini about some game they are playing at the party. 

And yes, I'll finally talk about it Ms. Jenn is there! So I already didn't think she would get fired (I will talk about this more in my theory post, coming soon!) Ms. Jenn most likely will not be fired since, why would her students invite her to the party. I get everyone has a close bond with each other, but I mean it seems to be just a student party. Plus, they didn't even invite her to the Thanksgiving Party.

Nini might have already left to the conservatory since we didn't see her either but who knows. 

Lastly we have this photo:

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS! Also this clip is most likely after the 3 episodes originally shot before the pandemic, because Sofia (plays Gina) didn't style her hair this way before. So that means Gina will be staying, since she probably would have made her decision in the first episode!

SO WE HAVE SINGING SOFIA! Her voice is so underused I got so excited. In the pic we have Gina, Ashlyn and Kourtney. So we do know that Kourtney most likely auditions for the play. Also they might all be getting big parts since all of their outfits are different from everyone surrounding them. I specifically think that Gina will be getting the lead role Belle, since she is in the middle of everyone. 

I remember someone on YouTube saying that their friendship from one of the promo pics gives them Unholy Trinity vibes, and now I see it. I think that their friendship will blossom in this season. 

The song they look like their singing may be an HSM song or an original girl power themed song. If it were to be an HSM 2 song I'd think it'd be 'Fabulous'. I cannot tell if the girl on the right of Sofia is Nini, but I would think it isn't.

This also doesn't seem like it will be part of the actual "Beauty and the Beast" play. The movie is very old-fashioned and this says otherwise. Ms. Jenn may put a modern twist to it, but I think she won't have the budget for it after fire in the theatre.

Speaking of the theatre, it seems to be rebuilt as in the promo pic we saw above and in the dance number they were dancing. So that could mean good news for Ms. Jenn and Mr. Mazzara. 

With this we can expect the trailer to come soon.
